Sweetwood Farm is a 75 acre heritage farm on the South Shore of Nova Scotia in eastern Canada. The property was settled in the 1700s by German settlers. We are inspired by the heritage, beauty and potential of this little corner of the world.

We are 10 minutes from the charming seaside town of Mahone Bay and less than an hour from Halifax.

We offer cheese making classes, farm experiences, and farmstays in an expanding collection of interesting accommodations, and a sanctuary for heritage breeds of farm animals. We have a small herd of goats, chickens and guinea fowl, and heritage-breed pigs.
